A bit about me
Holly Renaut: dialect coach, actor, voice artist, director.
A bit about me: I have been in the industry for 23 years, and have had an international career in theatre, film and voice over, both as a highly regarded dialect and acting coach, performer, director, and writer. I have worked with thousands of actors all over the world, individually, in workshops, and in production. In 2025 so far, I have coached 2 ads, one feature film for Riverstone Pictures, and am gearing up to work on the international series, Sira, (Buendia, Atresmedia, and Netflix) from September until the end of May 2026. I spent most of 2024 as the Acting and Dialogue coach for the number one HBO Max show, “When No One Sees Us” , and I also worked as Dialect coach for Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris in Showtime’s The Man Who Fell to Earth. I’ve coached in countless commercials, recording studios for dubbing and ADR sessions, and have even been hired by the government and the United Nations to work with public speakers.
I have directed and voiced countless projects including Nintendo's Metroid Dread, Ovrdark: A do not open story (game), Joy Eternal (animated series), Kiru and the mystery of the lost moon (animated short), and dubbed many series and films, including Disney’s From Tomorrow and Girl’s Night, and voiced countless videos and ads for companies and brands all over the world.
I have been a featured contributor and collaborator with Fishpond (Ireland’s leading casting platform)
I got into this job utterly by accident, when my fellow actors began asking me for help with RP and Australian for a play we were in. I began investigating anatomy, neuroscience, linguistics, and I became very curious about how to accurately describe what to do to make specific sounds, and how to help someone develop their ear for accents in general.
Long story short, 23 years, 6 countries, and thousands of actors later, I am still very much as fascinated as I was when I began. I now work in English and in Spanish, and specialize in helping non-native English speakers shape their speech into something closer to a native speaker (or even change it all together) Every single person I work with is unique, and I love the adventure of helping someone gain confidence and open up further casting opportunities. This industry is tough, and being confident in a few different accents makes a world of difference. I laugh a lot, we’re going to make loads of ridiculous faces, and if you’re looking for a serious business-like teacher, I’m probably not the right fit, and that’s totally ok! I like to have fun, and my classes and teaching style reflect that.
